Meredith Yeilding

Hutch Camp, she attended Hutch Camp as a player for many years.

This will be her 7th year as the Co-Director of Hutch Camp. Meredith graduate from Dallas

Christian School where she played 3 years at the varsity level.  As a 2-yr. team captain, she

She coached 1st through 8th grade girls at Dallas Christian volleyball camps for 4 summers. She also has sand volleyball training and has placed in various sand tournaments throughout the years.  Her aspirations to play college volleyball took a different turn than planned as she torn both ACLs subsequently in less than a year. It was then that Meredith realized God had a different plan for her volleyball career. She graduated from Dallas Baptist University with a double major Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Christian Studies. While at DBU, Meredith kept the scorebooks and libero for a few years at the home volleyball games. She also played in many intramural leagues, and countless sand volleyball games.

Meredith coached USAV club volleyball for 6 years, 4 of those years as Hutch's assistant. She coached 2 years with Texas Assault and then 4 years with VICTORY volleyball club, including helping out with the sand volleyball program. Meredith also coached the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams for 3 years at Texoma Christian School in Sherman, Texas, where she also taught Bible and Health classes.  She continues to play in various women's and coed leagues around the Dallas area, as well as watch her brother play in men's tournaments. Meredith met her husband Michael while at DBU, and they live in Richardson. She is a USA Volleyball certified coach holding the IMPACT certification.

Any fond/funny memories with Hutch?: Where do I begin… I still have fond memories of my sisters and I getting up extra early to help set up for Hutch Camp at Charger Gym. We were a small, but mighty team! It was super early, and on a Saturday, but it was so fun to see our dad’s excitement of being able to teach volleyball. Now it is even more fun to coach with some of the very first Hutch Camp Attendees!

Don Connelly

Don Connelly first started coaching volleyball in 2006 to spend more time with his daughters who loved to

play.He coached both of his daughter’s SVAA teams and has continued to stay involved in the sport

throughout their club volleyball careers. He is USA Volleyball IMPACT certified and has trained under

Steve Hutcheson for many years. He loves continuously learning more about the game and strategies, but

most importantly, helping girls improve. He believes it is all about them. This is Don’s 9th summer coaching

Hutch Camp, which his daughters also attended.

Some of his favorite funny memories from Hutch Camp have come from the coaches’ weekly meetings. They can be entertaining and quite comical.

His favorite Bible verse is Psalm 23:1-3 “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.”

Brianna Blagowsky

Coaching Experience: I have been coaching Hutch camp for 3 years now. I traveled to Nairobi Kenya with

Hutch and had to run clinics on my own there. I recently coached my first season of club volleyball. This was

at Impact volleyball club in San Antonio (a christian club) for a 12's local team.

Years Playing Volleyball: I played for 12 years

High School Honors: I got 110% award for Plano East Varsity team my sophomore and junior year. My senior year I received best defensive award and best female athlete out of the entire high school for all sports. I also got second team all district junior and senior year.

College Honors: I was on the Southland Conference honor roll, but because I completed 2 seasons before deciding to end my career that is all I received.

Years with Hutch/Hutch Volleyball: I have coached with Hutch volleyball for 3 years, but participated for 5 years.

Favorite Bible Verse: "What is impossible with man is possible with God." Luke 18:27

Any fond/funny memories with Hutch?: Hutch is just such a crazy guy! The best is that we are required to introduce our boyfriends to him and he tells the boy something that remains a mystery to us. The most fond is that he is an incredible mentor and lets me lead devotionals which is a passion of mine!
